The saga of Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Duron Carter continued Saturday. The wide receiver did not make the trip to Penn State, and is not eligible to play in a game, according to a statement released by the University of Alabama.

The official UA Statement: “Wide receiver Duron Carter did not travel with the football team to State College for today’s game. The University of Alabama is awaiting documents necessary for Duron to be certified. Until those documents are received, Duron may continue practicing with the team, but he cannot compete in a game.”

This forces Alabama to rely on DeAndrew White and Marquis Maze in the passing game this week.

  1. Anybody know where these documents are supposed to be coming from?
If Bama’s waiting on the NCAA, good luck with that, the way they drag-ass around doing everything else.

  2. Yea they drag-ass unless your the heisman trophy winner and u need eligibility to play for the national championship. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad the SEC added ANOTHER BCS championship to the conference, but that’s the fastest I’ve ever seen the NCAA rule on something!!
