Alabama Crimson Tide recruit wide receiver Duron Carter tweeted this update on his football status just minutes ago: “FINALLY! COMING TO A STADIUM NEAR U” (Source). This came via Carter’s personal twitter account.

Carter missed Alabama’s football Fall Camp over issues involving his transcript.

On Thursday, Alabama football coach Nick Saban updated the status of Carter with this cryptic statement: ““I have some information,” Alabama football coach Nick Saban said. “But at this point, I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Will Saban see it today?

No doubt this will be addressed at Saban’s press conference today at noon.

  1. Wish I was somewhere I could get the presser live. Just hope this isn’t another false alarm. If he’s on the team today that’s just phucking phantastic. I’d love to see Simms and McCarron have 3 targets like Maze, Williams and Carter on the field at the same time. And the way Richardson can catch and run. Then throw in the other Sims at Wildcat. Folks, there will be an arial show coming to a stadium near you the likes of which Alabama fans never thought they would see.

  2. I’m hopeful he’s all that we want him to be. Otherwise we’ve spent a lot of time worrying about a player who may not be better than what we have on the field now. Still, the Cris Carter factor associated with the program is pretty cool.
