MALONE AND SENTIMORE SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY; ROBBY GREEN OFF TEAM

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team suspended defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore and wide receiver Keiwone Malone. The official press release follows below via UA Media relations:

University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban announced Wednesday that redshirt freshman wide receiver Keiwone Malone and sophomore defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore have been suspended indefinitely from the Crimson Tide football team.

“Keiwone Malone and Darrington Sentimore have been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules and policy,” said Saban.

Senior defensive back Robby Green, who sat out the 2010 season due to suspension, will not return to the team in 2011.

  1. Whats going on are you serious? Clearing room for the latest recruits or better known as PROCESSED… I am just curious why there hasn’t been more medical hardships any answers?

  2. Just part of the process.

How long before these players realize what the Process really means? “Produce by the time you are a sophomore or you are gone”. Of course some of them are jumping ship rather than be “processed”. For example: Corey Grant realized that he made a mistake playing for $aban and is willing to sit out a year to play at Auburn.

Is that a part of the Process?

  3. Less medicals this year because the WSJ published that damn article and we can’t keep giving out medicals. Too many people watching and former players that got them are starting to talk. We just gotta find different ways to get rid of em this year.

  4. Wrong again, Hoopie. Corey Grant realized he could be third team at Auburn and fifth team at Alabama.

    Really pretty simple, moron.

  5. Hoopie is the typical shyt for brains Auburn fan. Robert Garrard = Mike Reaves isn’t any better

  6. Not sure Grant transferred for playing time. The barn will have a deeper backfield than us next year and we did need to make more room for the new signees.

  7. No Hoopie, Auburn is slobbering over Bamas rejects. Grant didn’t make the depth chart for Bama, and a true freshman who enrolled in January seems to have passed him too. So he left, and I am sure Auburn would love to take any players Saban has coached up.

  8. If Grant didn’t make the depth chart with us, there is no way he makes a deeper RB depth chart at the barn next year.

  9. Yeah auburn really is slobbering over recruits like Grant considering we don’t have amazing RB talent to start with….idiots. Our recruiting is just fine, get your heads out of your butts.

  10. Guys apparently Grant declined to continue to play at bama on a full ride to walk on at AU and pay his own way. CNS was apparently “suprised” as he “had plans” to utilize Grant this year.

    What is going on here?

  11. Maybe Grant is doing the right thing. He’s fast and quick. That fits into Barnies backfield better than Bama’s Bruisers charging the line of scrimmage. I figured he would be good at Wildcat, but now we have the other QB Sims for that position if Saban ever decides to use it that way. Up to now he’s been content to use Ingram and Richardson back there which kind of the limits the reason it is used in the first place. Anyway, who knows what Grant is thinking. It took a hell of a recruiting effort to drag him out of Auburn in the first place. Among other things he is probably under a ton of pressure from family and friends. Whatever the reason it must be desperate for him to leave a full scholly and sit out a year as a walkon. RTR!
