Hitting begins today for the Alabama Crimson Tide’s spring practice, reports the Daily Bama Blog.
Players are looking forward to getting into pads. According to the Dothan Eagle, “First time I put the pads on was with (now Houston Texans offensive lineman) Antoine Caldwell,” Chapman said. “I realized what’s the real deal when it comes to putting pads on in college football. Having just jerseys on, it’s light. But when they put pads on, they’re full tilt.”
