Alabama Crimson Tide basketball coach Anthony Grant talks about getting ready for New Mexico in the NIT. Grant said facing a team that is unfamiliar presents some challenges for the Tide.

Grant also provided a glimpse of what fans can expect from the game, “They’re a very talented team that is very balanced when you look at the players they have, they shoot the three well and have an inside presence,” UA head coach Anthony Grant said of Monday’s opponent. “Defensively, they’re a very solid team.”

  1. Yep, could be a tough game. They beat BYU twice and that’s not good. Bama and Colorado are the only #1 seeds left and the only ones left of the teams who were spurned for the 4 Big Dance playins. If they keep going they will play each other in the semi-finals, but we have to get by our bigest threat in UNM and they have to get by their biggest threat in St. Mary’s. Good luck guys. RTR!
