Ron Franklin’s big mouth

Many female sideline reporters are dumbasses.

But that doesn’t mean you should treat them badly.

Ron Franklin seems to have a problem understanding that.

According to Sports By Brooks, Franklin engaged in a blowup with a female sideline reporter during a production meeting. According to the report, “As Gilmore, Cunningham and Franklin discussed the subject, Edwards tried to join the conversation. When she did, Franklin said to her, ‘Why don’t you leave this to the boys, sweetcakes.’

“Edwards responded to Franklin by saying, ‘don’t call me sweetcakes, I don’t like being talked to like that.’

“Franklin then said, ‘okay then, a–hole.’”

Franklin was one of the best broadcasters, but his attitude already hurt him once. This can’t be good for his career.

Who gives a shit? Without trying to sound sexists – most female reporters are dumbasses. Then again – it’s eye candy. It’s what dudes want to see and also most coaches want to look at during the half-time interview – it’s ll made

What Franklin said is really what all men have thought since ESPN became the standard bearer for gender / minority rights. None of the female reporters are talented on ESPN. And only a few of the men are any good. What is really annoying is that fat ass Holly Rowe batting her garden rake fake eyelashes while explaining that a sprained ankle hurts.

I mean really. If I have to choose between listening to Holly Rowe or watching Auburn fans wear an “I stand with Cam” or “process” shirt, that’s when I bite the cyanide capsule.

    Phuck Auburn.

If you think this is just political correctness run amuck do us a favor and try this experiment: go up to a group of your male colleagues, call one of them an asshole, and then refuse to apologize. Let us know what happens.

    Alex Butt Humper,
I agree with you totally on the female reporter thing, however watching all the ignorant mullets wearing AL caps after 2009 NC at walmart was about the closest thing to hell I can remember.
