A major development in the Cameron Newton recruiting scandal.
TMZ reports: “According to sources connected to the probe … FBI agents looking into the Newton recruiting controversy are also asking about Milton McGregor — a dog track owner arrested last month for allegedly bribing Alabama politicians to vote pro gambling.”
I guess this means the FBI is just trying to clear Auburn and Cameron Newton’s “good name.” Or maybe this is just a “God thing.”
More from TMZ: “We’re told agents asked someone connected to the Newton case if he was familiar with McGregor or the bribery scandal. It’s unclear what, if any, direct connection McGregor has to Newton. Back in 2008, McGregor did donate a million bucks toward construction of a new arena at Auburn.”

Major development? A question that might have been asked reported by an unnamed person. Asked if he was familiar with an unrelated scandal. I can certainly see how this obviously means McGregor wrote a check to Cam Newton.

This is hilarious. The FBI wouldn’t be involved in this at all just based on hearsay. There is something more going on here than just accusations. But go ahead and ‘splain it all away WDE, we are all ears.

Earlier today, I was told by the same person that told me about McGregor last week that the FBI is planning to interview a person in Arkansas as well.

McGregor is an equal opportunity crook. I have no doubt Barn coaches, players,cheerleaders,faculty have been steered to a rigged machine at Victoryland and helped themselves to numerous jackpots.It’s only a 30 minute ride down I-85 from Barntown.
A friend and I were at Victoryland one evening about 15 years ago. We walked to the staging area before one race to look at the dogs. One of the fastest dogs was to race next. I don’t recall the dog’s name.I’ll just call him Red.
Red was a white greyhound with brown markings. My friend attended enough to know that Red had a brown patch on his right rear flank.This dog did not.The dog they entered as Red, was not Red. Sure enough the scrub dog broke last,was last all the way around the track and finished last.With the unknowing public cheated once again and all the money on Red, a few people mopped up.

Yall look… the FBI was wire tapping uncle Milty’s phones during their investigation of the bribary case. What they got an earfull of was alot of talk between milty and some senators and tid bit about Uncle Milty helping AU get a player signed to AU. Thats why the FBI is involved. Milty and Pat Dye have ties, they were on a board together it ABARN! He has alot of dough and would certainly help get the kid signed at AU. What we need to find out is if Cecil visited victory land and won BIG!
