The Alabama Crimson Tide faces the Florida Gators this week. What is the status of Florida’s running back?

According to the AP, “Florida’s Jeff Demps is wearing a protective boot on his injured left foot, but coach Urban Meyer says the speedy running back could play at top-ranked Alabama. Demps injured his foot Sept. 18 at Tennessee and re-injured it during Saturday’s 48-14 win against Kentucky. Meyer says X-rays showed no damage and that Demps has a bone bruise. … Meyer says, “I think we are going to have Demps.” But if Demps doesn’t play, backups Emmanuel Moody and Mike Gillislee would take on bigger roles.” (see the story below)
