The big game is almost here. It is time to talk about Penn State-Alabama.

“It’s awesome. It gets to show the world what you have,” linebacker Nate Stupar said about the marquee matchup. “You’ve got to show people what your team can do and show people who you are.”

“The competition that might work best for us to be at least competitive with a team that is as sound as Alabama, and as well coached as Alabama (may be) a whole different combination of people (than) what we used today,” Paterno said. “I don’t know. I will need to spend more time looking at Alabama.”

“We have been waiting for this time so we can strictly focus on” Alabama, linebacker Michael Mauti said. “We did not want to look past Youngstown State. … Now we can 100 percent focus on Alabama.” (You can read more of the AP preview below)

  1. Penn State does not have the defense or the horses to keep up with this team.BAMA is going to walk and i do mean walk. This is going to be a beat down on STATE.Just can not see State staying with this Alabama team.Game will be over in third quarter like Georgia in 09..36 17 ROLL TIDE GOD BLESS…

  2. On the contrary JP, Penn State has a very good defense and an elite running back. Their issues are mediocre special teams and inexperience at quarterback; both of which looked good Saturday. This will be a tough game with a dangerous team who has had us circled on their calendar for 2 years. There has only been 1 beatdown in our history with them. We beat them 42-21 and they finished 10-1 and won the national championship. RTR!

  3. Watch and learn crimsonite..This BAMA team is to dam strong. They can score at will and will put at least thirty or more on JOPA. ROLL TIDE GOD BLESS

  4. I expect a good old fashioned defensive game until the end, which I think Bama outlasts them. This should be a really good game to watch.
