Alabama is entering the final stretch before the regular season. So what is the Alabama Crimson Tide working on during practice?
“We continue this week to take something that our opponents do that is a little bit different and take a portion of practice to work on that,” head coach Nick Saban said. “We work on fundamentals very hard and then do a lot of work still against each other, so we can continue to improve good-on-good and try to get better execution with the fundamental things that we need to do play winning football.
“We still have a long way to go and a lot of young guys who have made a tremendous amount of improvement, but we need to continue to grow and play with more consistency.”
According to Alabama, “The Tide began initial preparations for this season’s opponents for the first time (Tuesday). Alabama will begin full preparation for its season opener against San Jose State on Monday.”
That shows just how close game week is. The long summer is almost over. Will you be attending the San Jose State game or watching it via pay-per-view? [poll id=”37″]
