Alabama’s recruiting and banning NFL scouts

W ill the ban on NFL scouts harm Nick Saban’s and the Alabama Crimson Tide’s recruiting? Maybe not.

According to Scout.com, “So how does banning scouts from the practice field affect Alabama’s recruiting? Coming off of a BCS Championship, during the absolute slowest recruiting part of the year, for a program that is covered nationally as any… it doesn’t.

“I wouldn’t recommend that course of action for most programs, but Alabama isn’t most programs. It’s Alabama.”
