What is a better representation of the trashiness of New Orleans than the dirty play of the New Orleans Saints? Seriously, the Saints game plan from the smug Sean Payton was to injure Favre—obviously, the sucky Saints defense wasn’t going to stop Favre legitimately. (I wonder how well the New Orleans Saints will do against outstanding quarterback Peyton Manning? My guess is not so good since there are fewer chances to hit Colts quarterback Manning than Vikings quarterback Favre.)

The proof of just how dirty the Saints played was the personal foul penalties and just plain cheap shots on legendary quarterback Brett Favre. There is no place in the NFL for this type of behavior. It is a shame that the Super Bowl will see a team so unworthy of being there.

To call New Orleans Sodom in the South would be to insult Sodom. The city embraces the Saints because the Saints are a true reflection of everything wrong with New Orleans. The only cheap trick not used by the Saints was the chop block. But there is always time to perfect that during the by-week. The Saints will probably need that weapon to have a shot against the Colts.

  1. Are you nuts? You are a sore loser and a lowlife to talk trash like this. Love or hate the city of New Orleans, you should keep your mouth shut. The Saints played HARD and TOUGH, and Favre is TOO OLD to take the hits. Not the Saints fault. Favre got tired and he lost that game with his mistakes. Geaux Saints!

  2. Oh please, and how many times did the vikings turn over the ball?

Each team had just as many chances to win… stop crying

  3. Hey come down to New Orleans and say that im sure we won’t mind showing you how dirty we can be 🙂
    WHO DAT!!!!!!!

  4. OHHHH please stop whining. the bottom line is that the saints played better football than them. If they didnt want favre to take those “hard” hits then maybe the offensive line should protect the pocket more. Stop blaming the Vikings lose on “trashiness” of the saints. Its football, if you cant take a hit, then retire. THANK YOU! o yeah and im a giants fan and im saying this.

  5. Dude you are such a puss. the saints won because they could hold there own against a team not as good as them. Sorry for your obvious loss.

  6. Texan is very wrong and obviously blind to legitimate calls- since when is roughing the passer and personal fouls legal? It IS the Saints fault, someone needs to take a stand and the author finally had the balls to speak up! Favre is a true sportsman, that will never be denied. Too old? NEVER, – age ain’t nothing but a number. Let’s get the tp ready for their loss! Bring it on!

  7. Not everybody loves Favre. He got the same hits tonight that other quarterbacks get. He had his days, but he is getting old…can’t argue that.

  8. BTW, sometimes there are personal fouls in football…not just at the professional level but even in high school. It happens…

  9. Hopefully you are not representative of Alabama fans in general. I saw them in the Sugar Bowl last year against Utah and they seemed to like hard hitting football.

  10. um. are you kidding me. I didn’t see any SAINTS in this game today thats for sure. if hitting a quaterback that has already let go of the ball is what you call hard and tough better look again. your age argument is like a lead balloon the fact that he’s old makes him 100x times better than brees. Thats the only strategy you had anyone could see it. otherwise you would have hurt us in the secondary made a little more 3rd downs and run it more than what 68 yards? you play dirty. SAINTS shouldn’t be that way. disgraceful.

  11. WHO DAR!
    Get over it looser!
    HA! HE! HE!
Come down here and kiss my Saints loving ASS you Faggot!

  12. I’ve never seen a game with so many blatant late hits in my entire life. perhaps what made it worst is that there where slim to no calls by the refs. And the Saints won so I will give them credit for it. But Minnesota definitely lost to Minnesota. They absolutely dominated this game.

I was never a big Favre fan, but this season changed that. And this man, at 40 is still out playing the majority of the young guys in this league. He should definitely come back.

  13. Yes, APete hurt ’em with the jell-o hands. Yes, Childress made a dumb call with the bootleg when The Greatest threw the INT. HOWEVER… 1. Definitely shoulda been more roughing calls on Saints. Obvious their gameplan was to hurt Favre, at all cost. They got away with it. This isn’t the first time they’ve been called dirty scumbags. (And rightfully so).
    2. Garbage booth reviews in the (agreeably outdated and moronic yet traditional) overtime. (That was NOT a catch.)
    3.  Final say: Favre still The Greatest. I can only selfishly hope he gives it 1 more go. Always has & always will be my favorite to watch. And I’m a Bengals fan.

IMHO – ONLY reason #Saints got away w/ their DIRTY plan & benefitted from SEVERAL questionable calls (if not downright blatant charity) was because we’ve become such a society of fakes as a whole. Still feeling all this crap about those oh so poor people in #NewOrleans needing this. #BS.

Should’ve seen it comin. NFL has tried to appease the poor souls in New Orleans. BS. Coddled ’em ever since. They got refs from Bourbon Street.

At least one good thing may come out of this BS feaux “game” we witnessed tonight. Maybe now everyone will stop coddling them and they will drift back into obscurity.

  14. It really doesn’t matter. The Colts will win! But really why r so many people from NO reading the Capstone.”Who dat” Saban n the Tide R the reason! Geaux Colts! LOL!

  15. I’ve never seen such dirty playing in my life. I think they got like 4 or 5 personal fouls. The do not deserve the Saints name. There are no saints in that locker room.

  16. This article is so spot on. The game plan from the start seemed to be any chance you get, hit him… rattle him… and if you get a chance take him out of the game, go for it. it was so obvious when Bobby McCray could have layed off or hit him up high but instead dove at his knees and ankles. you saints fans are ridiculous, it was embarassing and brees looked rattled. He was ridiculously outplayed tonight. Enjoy your win, but just know everyone around the country knows it was dirty pool!!!! Go Colts. Favre, bring it back for one more brother!!

  17. If this type of dirty tricks is allowed going forward, then we may as well stop having player wearing any protections. What is the point. If I were Colt coach, I will have to instruct my players to do the same and make a point to Saint, seriously. It obviously works!. This is worst game ever. I will stop watching football until this type of tricks is dealt with. Unlike Tiger Wood situation, this is dirty tricks on the playing field which truely defaces the integrity and soul of NFL.

  18. I admit the Vikings lost that game on their own with bad hands and some poor decisions but they by far does not excuse the disgusting behavior and lack of character by the Saints. I’m not a fan of either of these teams and personal thought Favre playing for the Vikings was just wrong but what the Saints tried to do to him was the worst football I’ve ever seen in my life. Luckily I’m a Colts fan so I get to see the Saints get severely wooped at the SuperBowl. Just remebered Saints fans…this is what you wanted. Haha.

  19. concerned fan, I am totally with you. i personally wanted the chargers to play you guys, but congrats on the victory today. garcon and collie really stepped up with revis on wayne. it was awesome to see. I am a vikes fan and am rooting for you guys in two weeks. I think sean payton is hiding behind this “it was for the city” jargon and needs to answer to the fact that he sent his team out to take out favre, bottom line. cheap shots flew left and right and that was a clear part of their game plan. f the saints and go colts. brees was severely outplayed tonight, bottom line.

  20. cappy, if you were bothered by the saints play last night i would suggest you find another college team to root for and write about.

i watched both games yesterday in their entireities(sp?) and i saw both the jets and the saints trying to affect the quarterbacks defensively with tough physical play.

exactly what nick saban has been trying to do all year to opponents in the sec.

after a pre-recorded interview with favre during the game one of the color guys made mention of how tired favre looked during the interview. you don’t think the coaching staff for the saints saw that too???

i’m of the opinion the nfl goes TOO far in protecting qbs. after all it is football. football’s a violent game and the nfl’s VERY fast and violent.

if you don’t want your qb hit, block the bastard trying to hit him.

but seriously, if last night bothered you that much, start writing columns to have marcell dareus and donta hightower thrown off our team.

because what you saw last night is exactly what nick saban wants them (and every other player on our defense) to do, affect the quarterback. make them HATE to play us.

i like to call it jordan jefferson syndrome.

  21. I am a Titans/Dolphins fan and was pulling for the Saints to win being from the south!! Peyton Manning will light up the
saints like a x-mas tree! RTR

  22. February’s coming,
    Big event carrying,
    Be on time, don’t forget,
    Your alarm to be set.
    Super bowl we’ll meet.
    It’s really so great.
    Have fun and pleasure.
    From the start to closure.

I won’t miss. I got ma tix from Ticketsinventory.com and waiting impatiently for February.

  23. the saints are a dirty bunch of fags such a dirty game a dirty team from a dirty city no wonder god used a hurricane to give the city a bath

  24. This article is the TRUTH! The Saints play dirty, have all year. Tried to take out Warner also, hit him low all day. The coach is a punk ass little bitch.

  25. The Capstone Report engages in histrionics in yet another inaccurate post. Roll Tide and Who Dat.

  26. I agree with the article, although the Vikings lost the game on turnovers, the Saints played an underhanded and dirty game by obviously trying to hurt Favre. The personal foul count tells the tale.

    Shame on them.

  27. It’s too bad the Saints are playing the way they are. I really wanted to see the Saints make it but now after such dirty play the last couple of games they are making themselves look foolish. With so much talent on the team like “Brees” and “Bush” it’s upsetting to see the Defense act this way. God know’s the truth Coaches, you’ll eventually need to answer.

  28. Living in Minnesota I figured the Vikings would loose, but with Farve I thought this was our “only” chance to win. Although being the Saints wanted cheap shots and to play dirty they won.You could tell from the pregame show that the Saints were favored by the overpaid announcers. Adrian Peterson or should we call him fumble fingers didn’t help the game out at all either. I can’t wait for the Colts to beat the Saints at the superbowl. I think its time Minnesota got a new head coach..

  29. i was pulling for the saints but it was a despicable display or dirtiness. not every hit but definitely the one where they called a personal foul on the other saint and the hit to the legs. but nobody should feel sorry for Brett Favre. he is a warrior and a great qb but he’s overrated and he showed why at the end of regulation besides the fact that he held two orginazations hostage with his will he/wont we? act. the man behaves in a way that makes you think the world revolves around him and i for one was glad to see him pummeled.

  30. I agree 100%. The Saints showed their true colors last night and won the only way they could — playing trashy, dirty ball. I hope they get run over in Miami and slither back to the scummy streets of NO with their rat tails between their legs. They don’t deserve to be in the league after last nights game and the coach should be banned.

  31. If those hits happened to Tom Brady we would have a new rule about it. Oh wait, I forgot the league already has the Tom Brady rule and they forgot to call it last night.

  32. I found the Saints first half game plan to ‘INJURE’ Favre despicable! I went into the game routing for the Saints and by the 2nd quarter I was hoping they would lose. The NFL should be embarrassed!

  33. It seems that all the saints fans have conveniently forgotten that it is ILLEGAL to hit a quarterback after he has gotten rid of the ball. If their quarterback would have taken all those hits, they’d be bitchin up a storm!!! They didn’t win cause they played the better game. They won cause they were pussy’s trying to hurt Favre and get him out of the game. Yes, the vikings made their share of mistakes, but they didn’t play dirty to get where they were at. They vikings are the ones who deserved to win it. I hope the Colts kick their dirty rotten ass. Maybe they should try and PURPOSELY injure Brees. You saints fans wouldn’t like that now would ya? Yeah, I thought so. Reverse the shoe and see who would be whining if the shoe was on the other foot. They didn’t play tough. They played dirty. It was obvious, and I know saints fans who totally agree that they played dirty! You just can’t handle the criticism that your team had to play dirty to win. Boo hoo to you guys. Take the critism and face the facts. The saints can only win by playing dirty!!!

  34. Of course the gameplan was to hit Favre, you idiot. As I’m sure the gameplan for the Vikings was to hit Brees. So why weren’t all these so-called dirty plays called by the refs? Oh that’s right….it’s a big NFL conspiracy to get the Saints into the Super Bowl. And who does that benefit? The NFL would rather a large market team make it to the big game. I should have known that such moronic thinking would come from someone in Alabama.

  35. I just hate the Saints because of Reggie Bush. Never in the history of the NFL has a player been a bigger one game wonder than Bush. He takes more plays off than T.O.

I do like Roman Harper and Rocky Stop is on my wall near where I sat while watching this game. I’m glad that he has the chance to play in the Super Bowl. The guy and his family have been through a lot with the murder of his aunt.

I don’t really care for Sean Payton, but make no mistake, Minnesota gave the Saints that game. It should not have been as close as it was.

Not to go all “Captain Ramsey” on you Capstone, but it was Minnesota’s five turnovers that decided the game, not poor officiating or the Saint’s physical play.

I agree that the Saints were determined to hit Favre as often as possible, and even hit him after the ball was gone, so what? It’s a violent game. A violent game that Favre could have still one if he didn’t throw it over the middle of the field against his body, just as he did against Philadelphia in the 2003 divisional playoffs to lose the game. Favre finds a way to lose playoff games, then sits back and says how he played doesn’t matter, he has nothing to prove.

The guy is the best of his generation. And poor play and arrogance is his thing.

  36. This is FOOTBALL, not a game for queens. If you don’t want to be hit go play baseball. That was just smash mouth football, like they use to play BITD (back in the day)

  37. Any Saints fan proud of that game would be delusional. Thirty-something yards offence in the second half against 130??? Had it not been for Pierre Thomas and a few big plays there was NO offence from NOLA. The Vikes ground out everything they got. Look at TOP. The Vikes were in cover two 50% of the time and Brees couldn’t take advantage of it. The NOLA play calling was poor and the calls against the Vikes that last drive were a gift if ever there was one. The Saints stumbled in the door backwards! Brees had better get his A game ready cause he did not have it Sunday.

  38. U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT – THE SAINTS DID NOT PLAY DIRTY = ALL THE SHOTS WERE CLEAN – IT’S FOOTBALL U WUSSY….THE PENALTY WAS BS….THE ONE HITTING FAVRE LOW WAS NOT DIRTY AND WAS NOT A RULE TIL LAST YR IT WAS NOT DIRTY AND IT IS A STUPID RULE ….A PLAYERS INSTICT IS TO KEEP PLAYING EVEN IF ON GROUND….THE GOOD THING ABOUT THE SAINTS GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL IS – ALL THE AINTS BAGS NOW AVAILABLE FOR AUBURN NATION

  39. U STUPID IGNORNANT SLUT – IF MINNESOTA WOULD HAVE SCORED MORE POINTS SAINTS WOULD HAVE ANSWERED….SAUNTS HAD MULTIPLE 3RD AND SHORTS NOT CONVERTED IF BEHIND THEY GO FOR IT…..

  40. U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT – THE SAINTS GAMEPLAN WAS NOT TO INJURE HIM IF SO THEY JUST HIT HIS KNEES HARD AND TAKE THE PERSONAL FOUL PENALTY

  41. THE COLTS ARE THE BETTER TEAM BUT THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE VIKES TOO….BUT I GUARANTEE COLTS WONT BEAT THE SPREAD ….LOCK OF 2010

  42. I’m neither a Saints nor a Vikings fan but I lost all my respect for the Saints yesterday. Clearly, the Vikings made many mistakes throughout the game (still they came out close enough to bring it to OT), but the Saints defense had only one goal in mind – to destroy Favre. So many times the ball was long gone from his hand but they still pulled him down to the ground or unnecessarily tackled him. Favre was hit 15 times. Many were obviously unnecessary, but were not called by the officials. This is the game with the most illegal hits on the QB with the least calls by the officials I’ve ever seen. I know the defense had a job to do, but they knew right from wrong. And as athletes themselves, they knew that the hearts of their mothers, wives, and children stopped each time they were down on the ground. I just felt so sorry for Favre’s mom, Deanna (Favre’s wife) and their daughter who had to endure the unnecessary hits on their son/husband/dad. (How many times did we see Deanna cover her eyes and face with pain and horror?) A young QB such as Mark Sanchez or Joe Flacco would have suffered by these kinds of hits, let alone a 40-year-old QB like Favre. It was mind boggling. The Saints defense played the game as if they only had their physical body but no soul.

Also, the whole Katrina beat-down mentality thing got to stop. Yes, we felt horrible for them, but move on. It’s been over 4 years. However, if the people of New Orleans still feel the need that something has to fill their spirits for the tragedy and the Saints are it, then they couldn’t be more wrong. And if this is how the Saints are going to represent their City then they suck at it.

  43. I agree 100%…I was totally disgusted by the low lifes called the saints who literally assaulted Bret Favre, Where did they find these guys, some prison? These guys were more like assassins than professional and highly paid football players, and we should all be ashamed and disgusted. They obviously were, determined to hurt if not cripple bret, because they KNEW there was no other way to win. But is that all that matters to win at any cost? Why not take a gun on the field and just shoot the better opposing platers, guaranteeing better ratings as well as a win!
The NFL should clean up its act, and come down hard on such tactics not reward such low life actions. I for one have no stake, could care less about saints, vikings, colts, jets but I do hate to see such deliberate brutality being praised. The NFL leaders are all such hypocrites. The players that play like this should be BANNED from the game (if not arrested) or the game should be outlawed. I for one will NOT be watching the joke of a super bowl. I have much better things to do with my time such as take my dog outside to shit.

  44. U STUPID IGNORANT SLUTS NOT ONE HIT WAS A LATE HIT….NOT ONE HIT WAS DIRTY …ONE HIT WAS ILLEGAL NOT DIRTY AND THAT IS THE NEW BRADY RULE FOR WUSSIES….FOOTBALL IS A VIOLENT SPORT – U QUEERS SHOULD NOT WATCH IT – WOMENS GYMMASTICS IS A GREAT SPORT ….

  45. SUPER BOWL – IS A NO QUEER ZONE SO U R NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH IT ANYWAY – GEAUX SAINTS – WHO DAT – ROLL TIDE ROLL 22 13

  46. YEA, THATS RIGHT..THE SAINTS DO PLAY DIRTY PUSSY FOOTBALL! AND TO THE GUY THAT SAID NOT ONE HIT WAS LATE, YOU MUST NOT’VE BEEN WATCHING WHEN THE VIKING WAS DOWN ON A KNEE SIGNALING FAIR CATCH AND A PUSSY SAINT PUT A HIT ON HIM AFTER HE CAUGHT IT. A REAL MAN HITS PLAYERS WHEN THEY CAN DEFEND THEMSELVES!

  47. ON THE PUNT RETURN THE VIKING HAD MUFFED IT ,, THE SAINTS PLAYER WAS JUST GOING FOR THE RECOVERY AND THE VIKE IN A SPLIT SEC RECOVERED HIS OWN FUMBLE AND GOT SET ON A KNEE TOO LATE FOR THE SAINT TO CHANGE COURSE….NOT DIRTY JUST TOUGH EXCEPT TO QUEERS OR VIKING FANS

  48. VIKINGS GOT OUTCOACHED – VIKES WITH BETTER LINE GETS 4 HITS ON BREES…SAINTS 16 HITS ON BREES

  49. VIKINGS GOT OUTCOACHED – VIKES WITH BETTER LINE GETS 4 HITS ON BREES…SAINTS 16 HITS ON FAVRE

  50. Well said GO COLTS. You Crimson Hammmah need to learn what illegal hits are in the NFL. They were late hits, so apparently you have eye problems or you don’t know jack shit about football. I hope the Colts mop the field with your precious pussy saints. The refs are to blame as well for only calling a few of those hits. Face it saints fan, your team SUCKS! If they have to play dirty to win, maybe they should go play football in their backyards and leave the NFL to the professional, MATURE, athletes who make sacs and not ILLEGAL HITS. Call yourself a SLUT ASSHOLE.

  51. I am glad to see others noticed this. I noticed early how the Saints were not just trying to sack or hurry Favre, they were trying to hurt him. Great gameplan, right? If you can knock Favre out of the game, then you don’t give him the chance to do what he has been so great at.
Disgraceful. Too bad there aren’t 30 yard penalties for roughing the passer, the Saints should have gotten at least four of those.
I am now, at least for the Super Bowl, an Indianapolis fan.
    GO COLTS!

  52. After reading all these “so what?’ comments here about the saints targeting Favre the way they did, I hope the Colts target Brees. Take him out of the game before halftime.
Then we’ll wait for you Saints apologists to post your “so what?” comments…I think we’ll be waiting forever…

  53. The Saints played dirty. To the idiots saying that the saint played better, we had twice the 1st downs, nearly twice the yardage, and almost half of a quarter longer possession. We owned the Saints, you had to play dirty. I’ll take the Vikings loss the way they played vs any win the way the Stains did.

  54. FOOTBALL EXPERTS LIKE MYSELF SAY NO LATE HITS AND ONE ILLEGAL HIT….MINNY HAD MORE USELESS YARDAGE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT HOLD ON TO THE FOOTBALL….IF MINNY HAD SCORED – THE SAINTS WOULD HAVE ANSWERED BUT THE SAINTS DID NOT NEED TO….

  55. I HOPE THE VIKES ENJOY THE PIZZA AND MUNCHIES WHILE THE SAINTS ARE BATTLING THE COLTS – WIN OR LOSE – SAINTS NFC CHAMPS – VIKES – NFC RUNNER UPS

  56. HOW MANY YARDS DID THE VIKES GET ON FIRST AND TEN AT SAINTS 33 WITH ABOUT MINUTE LEFT AND HOW MANY POINTS DID THEY COME AWAY WITH IT?

  57. Man if you’re only saying one late hit, your blind as a bat. Almost ever hit was AFTER he passed. It sure as hell wasn’t 11 sacs. You better find someone who taped it and watch it again. All these people on here talking about the late hits aren’t wrong! If you’re proud of the way the saints played then I feel sorry for you. That’s really something to be proud of….NOT. It don’t matter. The Saints got where they are by playing dirty. THE END!!!

  58. BTW, if you consider yourself a football expert, it’s no wonder you have no clue how many late hits there were. You are by no means an expert. Wanna be maybe…expert NO. Sorry dude. You’re all talk. Even the saints fans know they played dirty.

  59. Ummmm… http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bal-sp.nflvikings21jan21,0,322244.story

an entire article about the most “irreverant” viking on defense and their plan to do exactly what we did to farve… only they didn’t execute their plan as well as we did.

Do you whiners realize the vikes may have sacked Romo a few times but he was hit 10 other times… if those hits weren’t sacks then by your definition the vikes had 10 personal fouls against dallas that weren’t called…. the vikes talked openly about how they like to “rattle” opposing qbs…. I love it that now their fans can’t take it that some other team did a better job of “rattling” a qb than they did…. hillarious

  60. HOW MANY YARDS AND HOW MANY POINTS DID THE VIKES GET AFTER FIRST AND 10 AT THE SAINTS 33?

  61. I have been a diehard Saints fan for a long time. My family & I spent a week making a huge banner to hang up outside for the Saints NFC Championship game. It’s now down. The vikings may hit other QB too, but not the way they were hitting Favre last night. I started losing respect when they did it to Warner. Last night, I was completely ashamed of the Saints team. It was 100% obvious they were intentionally trying to injury Favre, which they succeeded in doing. I lost all respect for them and you guys on here defending them are making yourselves look like fools. The Vikings, as well as many other teams don’t purposely try to hurt a QB. Not the way the Saints do. As far as I’m concerned, Favre outplays many of the young QB out there. He isn’t too old to play. People who say that he is too old just simply don’t want to admit that a 40-year-old QB is better than most out there. At least I can look at it objectively and give an objective, honest opinion. You guys are too busy defending a “dirty team” instead of admitting that they are in fact a dirty team. Sorry. No one could have been anymore of a Saints fan than me. Not anymore. I will be cheering for the Colts, and that’s a shame. Many Saints fans lost respect. I’d be embarrassed to defend them, but you go ahead. The Saints made themselves look like idiots and so are their fans. At least I’m an honest fan.

  62. Oh, and you are making yourselves look like idiots by calling people sluts. How old are you by the way? Apparently not very old.

  63. U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT – THE SAINTS WERE NOT TRYING TO INJURE 4 – JUST PLAYING TOUHGH HARD NOSED PHYSICAL ALABAMA FOOTBALL… I WILL BE ROOTIING FOR THE SAINTS EXPECTING TO WIN BY 3 BUT GUARANTEEING COLTS WILL NOT BEAT THE SPREAD AND WON’T BE SHOCKED IF COLTS WIN … ROLL TIDE ROLL …GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX… AND CONGRATS TO AU AINTS FOR TAKING OVER THE AINTS BAG MANTLE

  64. Lol… you say I look like a fool?
Im not the one saying in a sport where 300 lbs+ men are paid to put on pads and hit people… that those hits are dirty…. stop watching football then. The saints and vikings both made clear their intentions to hit the opposing QB early and often and now a few supposed fans of football want to claim that doing just that is dirty… if Farve hands the ball off and McCray stands there and Farve hits him in the mouth (which is what he is supposed to do to help block on the play) no one makes a peep… but GOD forbid a defensive player hit the guy going to block him.
Say im a fool I could care less… I’ve played football (and not just at the JV lvl) Show me a player who holds back on a hit because it is the righteous thing to do… and i’ll show you someone who has never been coached (by a real FB coach) a day in their life… Your all ignorant if you think the saints gameplan was any different than any other team’s gameplan.
Bottom line is all 11 players on the field are being paid to play a physical game… complaining about the level of physical play because it makes you upset would be the equivalant to complaining about Usain Bolt running too fast… this is what these people do for a living… they hit people…

  65. Well cool. Apparently, nobody knows anything about the game except for you two ignorant fans. I hope Freeney and Mathis do the same thing to Brees. Then we’ll see if you’re opinions remain the same. You guys are a disgrace to fans as much as the Saints are to the NFL. Well you guys have fun on here making idiots of yourself. Some of us actually have a life. It seems you don’t since one of you has been on here all day posting comments. LOL. I guess it gives you something to do. How sad you have nothing better to do.

  66. And for the record, yes both teams were out to sac. And yes, the sport is physical and about hitting and hitting hard. I’m all for sacs, but it is not about hitting the QB AFTER he passes the ball. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT…PERIOD!!!

  67. I’m actually arguing the facts… lol They very well could smack brees around all night it won’t change my mind… and as I remember the announcers pointed out a few times when the vikes returned the favor to brees… no complaints obviously brees was shaky in the second half… he got his bell rung a few times too. That point is conviently over-looked in your arguments… but I invite anyoen to make an actual case for why the saints d is dirtier than any other, and why they need to be singled out for it?
And Im not sure who your reffering to as ignorant… but just about every actual sports writter for every major publication agrees it wasn’t “dirty” or “cheap” simply physical.

  68. I pointed out earlier that the vikes “hit” romo 10 times that were not sacks. If they weren’t sacks that means he got rid of the ball… and i know your not supposed to hit thr QB after he gets rid of the ball… but what about when he continues the play… such as blocking. Or when the player has already lunged for him to try to get a sack and can’t all the sudden come to a dead stop in mid air because he doesn’t have the ball in his hand any more… it happens ALL THE TIME

  69. What??? What did the Saints do to Ben Cartwright??? Just kidding…
Bonanza: one of my all time favorite Westerns.
    RIP, Ben.

  70. DITTO – BONANZA – ONE OF THE GREATEST – GREAT CHARACTERS – GREAT PLOTS – GREAT FAMILY …RIP – BEN

  71. DIRTY PLAY! I think I’m finally done with the NFL that has become a game played by a bunch of street gang thugs. Now, all you street gang thugs who like watching your fellow thugs play, reply.

“WHO DAT!!!” ??? That’s so Eighties – Grow Up!

  72. This is perhaps the most ridiculous thing I’ve read concerning football since I can’t remember. Favre stood in the pocket and took hits at the split second after he threw the pass, over and over again. I suppose the D-linemen were supposed to stop their motion as they were 8 inches away, at full speed? They were going for the sack, every single time. If you can’t get the sack, you settle for the rattle.

Here’s a thought – perhaps Favre should’ve coiled up and taken a sack every now and then rather than make erratic plays, to preserve himself. People make fun of Manning “shrinking” to the ground on pass rushes, but he keeps his head together at the end, doesn’t he? There was one hit at the knees which was dubious – and part&parcel of most football games. Sorry – the rest was football. I really don’t know what you guys are talking about.

  73. MAYBE THE ENTIRE OFFENSE ON EVERY TEAM SHOULD WEAR PINK NO-CONTACT JERSEYS…………WHO DAT?

  74. I totally agree that the Saints (Aints still in my view) played dirty against the Vikings. Come on…at least 15 “hits” on the quarterback, none of them sacks—and NONE that I saw were called as late hits.????

What is even worse is that, according to what I saw, there were 2 really bad hits on Favre by McCray –one in the first quarter –late/roughing hit never called (there was a lot of confusion but according to announcers, McCray got called for touching the Vikes player that caught the ball after he was out of bounds…NOT for the late hit on Favre)—

The major one I heard called was roughing the passer ONE time for actually lifting Favre off his feet and driving him to the ground by a different Saints player.

THEN, McCray appeared to dive at Favre’s legs in the last 2 minutes of the 3rd quarter while another Saints player hit him more from the front and rolled over top of him—Favre was hurt bad and taken to the sidelines to have his legs evaluated, ankle taped etc.. What a lowdown dirty play!!! THAT was ALSO NEVER CALLED although there is supposed to be a “Brady rule” that you cannot hit a quarterback below the knees. I thought he was trying to kill or maim Favre….

It certainly looked to me that the game plan of the Saints was to hurt Favre bad. What LOSERS—they go on to the Superbowl but DO NOT deserve to be there…as far as the pick Favre throw at the end…I could not believe he was even still playing after all the dirty plays and numerous no ref calls….

What up refs??? I have watched football for years and I have NEVER seen such dirty hits and certainly not the lack of calls on them. [McCray was the one who also hit Kurt Warner way too hard when the Cards played the Saints too–dirty plays in my book].

What is the point if one team gets to do that to another…The fun and thrill of watching football has been quashed for me….

  75. In my opinion, McCray should have been ejected from the game, fined and precluded from playing the rest of the season. I guess the Saints can’t get near a Superbowl ring unless they play dirty and the refs look the other way….Shame on the NFL for allowing this!!!! The Saints with this type of management will always be Aints in my view for doing this if there is no changes…

If I see these types of dirty hits in the SB against Peyton Manning, I am all done watching ANY football until it gets a thorough cleaning up…I have better things to do with my time.

Favre you are one tough player, the one and only “gunslinger” but you are only human and players should not be able to break the rules with little or no penalties called. You and the Vikings way out-played the Aints… If they get to hit you and hit you and hit you with no penalties, this is both exhausting and pain can enter into the mental portion for anyone too—then mistakes can more easily get made…. The Saints already had the home field advantage, thousands of fans making deafening noise and yet only some sort of underhandedness can make a “win”????… The Saints need to get a new name…but that would be unmentionable…

Had the shoe been on the other foot and the Vikings were getting away with all these dirty hits…I am sure the Saints would have called foul long and loudly as it stinks!!!

  76. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcqjClE7cuk

watch this video and then try to tell me McCrays was worse… all mccray did was grab him by the ankles… he didnt lunge into them.
You people are so ignorant it makes me sick

FYI the video is of Jared Allen lunging and hitting the side of Matt Schaub’s knee a full 2-3 seconds after the ball was gone. i’ll happily link plenty more examples of Vikings players doing what all of you are claiming to be “dirty”… Until Farve himself says that the saints were playing dirty then you all need to go back to breast feeding.

  77. OMG, I just read all this BS. Does “Crimson” or “Favre on the ground” have nothing better to do than defend such a raunchy team. LMAO. You guys are jokes. Seriously. Get a life. You guys need to watch cage fighting!!!! That seems to be more in line with what you consider a “sport.” Everyone knows that the game was the worst display of sportsmanship in football history. What a joke to call them a team! Their coach needs to get out and take all the hits that he told is players to put on Favre. I hope they get penalized out the ass. There were so many late hits that COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED its not even funny. No one expects a player to stop in mid air if they are going for a sac but their conduct was a disgrace to the NFL. You keep on defending them though. It seems to keep you occupied. LOL!!!!!

  78. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS – WOMENS GYMNASTICS IS IN FULL FORCE AND BAMA GIRLS ARE #1 …FAVRE IS IN LINE TO BLOCK MCCRAY SO MC HAD EVERY RIGHT TO KNOCK THE SNOT OUT OF 4 – WHICH HE DID…KNOCKIING THE SNOT OUT OF QB IS FOOTBALL 101 EVEN IF IT as THE QB IS RELEASING THE BALL AND VIKES DID IT TOO BUT THE SAINTS DID IT BETTAH

  79. Forgot to finish my sentence. I hope they get penalized out the ass if they attempt that BS against Peyton.

  80. “Everyone knows that the game was the worst display of sportsmanship in football history.”

Phew – for a second there I thought someone might hyperbolize about the game.

  81. All you guys on here are ridiculous. Act like grown ups for gods sake. The only exageration I see from anyone on here is the constant defending of a crappy football team whose main goal was to hit the quarterback because the saints sure didn’t exhibit any other talents during the game. I will them that. They know how to make a late hit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Leave everyone be who feels the need to make comments because you are trying to attack people’s views like they attacked Favre. Get a grip people.

  82. Some help me out, was that article about New Orleans or Tuscaloosa? Hey Farve and all you cry babies here are some ideas on how to keep from getting your ass beat down. Get some pass protection, run the ball, get receivers open. Oh yeah, retire and do more wrangler commercials.
“Honk if you’ve hit Farve” or Brodi Crowle.

  83. Hey Peyton#1fan, can’t wait to see the Saints bumb rush 18 and poor poor Peyton drags himself off the turf and looks up into sky box for daddy. By the way, who is his backup?

  84. Hey Seeker4Truth, when did they take pain out of the nfl???? You pansie! What about the pile drive that Breze took and got up and put his own shoulder back in place and continued to play and win? Cry me a river! I’m tired of all the protection the QB gets. If you’re hit to much and to hard, run the ball or fire the o line.

  85. You can meet me back on here when the colts kick their ass. In the meantime, grow up and get over your precious saints…and yourself! You act like an overprotective mother dude.

  86. You seriously must not have a life either Mr. “So What.” No wonder you’re acting like you’re premenopausal. You are not the Saints mother. Chill out. It will be okay. They will survive their ass whipping from the colts. It will all be okay dude. No need to get so defensive of your team. The super bowl is still a few weeks away. LMFAO.

  87. To 13SoWhat–that would be “Pansy”…And no one ever said there should be no pain in the NFL. I just said some of these hits appeared dirty to me and that this game was not called right and most of the bad calling to me favored the Saints big time.

Intentions count—if a player is intentionally trying to take out a player etc. that changes it—Yeah it is a rough sport and rules maybe get broken in the heat of the game and I accept that, but if rules do not apply to both sides, then what is the point to playing at all???

In what quarter/time is the hit on Brees you are referring to so I can take a look…it is about being FAIR. Brees had 1 sack and at 6 hits at the last count I could see–Favre had at least 15 hits and none were sacks…(as noted, 2 of McCray’s were the most egregious in my opinion)

Also, other ref calls were questionable to me–what about the TD being called when his knee was down before the goal line etc. etc.??

Something just seems not right about the refereeing of this game. Yeah I am a Favre fan but I also also really just don’t like injustice.

  88. To: Favre On the Ground Re: Jared Allen—Schaub 2008 game– The video you note is a bit unclear and I would need to see better angles in order to better judge, but no player should get clean away with illegal force against a quarterback. If there are rules, then they should apply to ALL to be fair. Farve played for the Jets that year…

According to NFL-AP report I read, Jared said official was right there and did not call it and he slipped, but he also noted that he apologized to Schaub after the game and meant no ill will. Hmmm…didn’t look to me like McCray was planning on apologizing…so I am guessing he didn’t.

JA also reportedly got penalized by the NFL after the game with a $50,000 fine. And if there is any question, maybe he is much more careful as there are no complaints against him that I am aware of in this play-off game.

What is coming for McCray and company with all the late, roughing, below the knee hits to penalize them??? Something I hope –to restore my faith in the game…

McCray and company should get some penalties so that they don’t arrogantly think they can do this to Peyton Manning.

  89. OK–I am a former Packer fan that became a Brett Favre fan after Packer management did what was in my opinion dishonorable treatment of Brett. I know how many in the main media put a spin on it but I believe Favre. He just wanted to play the game he loves, but the fact that he got this far with a brand new team for him in 2009 proves he could still play at a phenomenal level (lots of other teams and quarterbacks were after all NOT this far in the play-offs…).

He beat the Packers twice this year–once in their home field, which had to be tough for him, being that the antics of management divided Packer nation. Yeah we former Packer fans do exist (I may become a Packer fan again IF management is fired). I don’t know of anything involving A. Rodgers or the Packer players…just the management.

Well…GO PEYTON!!!…I will be watching to see if the Saints try to do this to Peyton. Next to Farve, my favorite quarterbacks are the Manning brothers.

    GO PEYTON/COLTS WIN!!!!!!!

  90. Hearing Dan Reeves on the Atlanta show, he went so far as to say that he thought NO got unfairly tagged on some hits. Aikman thought the call on Casillas (IIRC) wrapping up Favre and slamming him down was bogus – since he was wrapped around Favre’s torso, and couldn’t tell if he’d thrown it, and didn’t hear a whistle. But I guess you guys know better.

  91. Who can we call at the NFL? We should bombard them with calls, this is di
despicable, those hits were blatant. That 25th ranked defense was so outclassed by Favre, they went headhunting as their only ‘recourse’. We go to sports for enjoyment, fairplay , escape etc., and what do we get in a case like this? More selfish ‘Wall Street’ mentality from degenerates like the Saints. Call the NFL and pass the word. Favre and Warner are worth more to the league than dirty defensive coordinator who teach their players to headhunt.

  92. PUT UR PINK STARTER JERSEY ON AND ROOT FOR DA COLTS —AND IT IS BETTAH AND I AINT NEVAH BEEN NUTHIN BUT A WINNAH – U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT…….GEAUX SAINTS PULL THE UPSET/////////////////

  93. PS to Farve OnThe Ground for the comment “Until Farve himself says that the saints were playing dirty then you all need to go back to breast feeding.”…

For all the nasty comments about Favre being all egotistical etc., I have watched years and years of after-game comments by Favre—win and lose–and from what I saw, he ALWAYS took the lion’s share of the blame…even noting in this game he probably should have ran it etc.—but didn’t know how far he could have gotten etc. (well no doubt with the kinds of hits taken all night—I couldn’t believe he was still giving it a go–most would be on their way to the hospital… He EARNS that Ironman name…).

And, when the team won, he noted the team or certain other outstanding players in a win, not himself…. As for interceptions etc., many times he needed to do some sort of hail Mary in the last few seconds of the game when playing for the Packers—it was purely phenomenal and amazing when it connected—it shouldn’t have had to be so much on Favre to carry a game so much.

And, besides that, Favre and his wife Deanna have done many things for kids like Make a Wish etc. and various charities. WI and Green Bay owed him to treat him better than T. Thompson in management did. Anyway, all of THAT is why I became a Favre fan first. And no, I am not President of the Brett Favre fan club, as I don’t have the time—but I just felt that Saints-Vikings game had some very bad hits and unjust ref calls.

About Aikman: He seems to me to have some sort of thing making him less than objective about Favre—whatever… Joe Buck seemed to be questioning that McCray low hit… And so does this Senior Wirter from CBS Sports.com: http://www.cbssports.com/print/nfl/story/12837591/low-moment-missed-call-on-favre-hit-inexcusable

  94. Who Dat Hammmah…you need to grow the hell up. If you were any kind of a grown up, you would realize that if you expect people to respect your opinion then you need to accept others’ opinions as well. Apparently you’re not a grown up with all that slang talk. If you don’t like people being critical of you and your opinion then stop being so damn critical of what other people think. You are not God. You opinion does NOT mean it is the right one. Nobody is 100% correct about anything. In the meantime, stop spending so much time on here and go buy a dictionary and learn English.

  95. Totally agree! Obviously the Saints didn’t care about playing good football and only cared about getting to the Super Bowl and attacking Favre (especially in the legs). I’m so excited for the Colts to kick their butt. The Saints are about as dirty as the streets in New Orleans. I hope you have a fun ride home when you lose.

  96. I AM A god. THIS IS THE INTERNET SO INTERNET ALBAMA ENGLISH IS MOST APPROPRIATE – U STUPID IGNORANT GAY SLUT…THE SAINTS DID NOT PLAY DIRTY – NOT EVEN DEBATABLE…U WILL COME TO THAT CONCLUSION AND U WILL LIKE IT STARTING NOW.

  97. How about you come to the conclusion that most americans find the saints a dirty team, ahd YOU WILL COME TO THAT CONSLUSION AND U WILL LIKE IT…STARTING NOW!!!! You probably do consider yourself a god. One of those people who thinks they are always right. One who will disagree just to start shit. You aren’t even man enough to accept someone’s else’s opinion. If you can’t be a man, go watch a junior varsity game at the local high school this fall.

  98. BOTTOM LINE….THE COLTS ARE GONNA WIPE THE FIELD WITH THAT SO CALLED FOOTBALL TEAM CALLED THE SAINTS. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHO IS ON HERE WITH THEIR WHINING THEN. RUN BREES RUN!!!!!

  99. THE VIKES HIT THE SAINTS QB 2 – THE SAINTS JUST DID IT A HELLUVA LOT BETTAH

I WILL – NO SHAME IN LOSING TO PEYTON MANNING U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT….GUARANTEE THE COLTS WILL NOT BEAT THE SPREAD

  100. ONLY GAYS AND LIBERALS SAY SAINTS PLAYED DIRTY…….ROLL TIDE ROLL AND GEAUX SAINTS BEAT THE SPREAD

  101. The Saints set out to take Brett out at any cost. They played dirty and got away with it. The refs sucked. I am SO ready to see the Colts take the Saints OUT on Feb 7th!!!

  102. You say that only Gays and Liberals would call the Saints dirty? Well, I’m about as conservative as they get and I’m not a lesbian. Last week CBS said the ratings for the Superbowl game will be low unless the Vikings and Colts were playing one another. However, I’m thinking after last week’s shenanigans from the Saints- WE ARE ALL GOING TO WATCH SOME DIRTY SAINTS LOSE!

  103. The Saints did hit Bret Farve and hit him often. It’s called STRATEGY. The fact is the Saints were called for late hits only twice. Don’t be upset with the Saints, be upset with the Vikings offensive linemen for allowing the Saints to get that close to Farve in the first place. Furthermore, it’s apparent that you have a short memory because this is the same exact STRATEGY the Vikings used to beat Dallas; the Saints just did it better. If Farve is too old to take hits, he should keep his rickety body in Mississippi and leave the tough stuff to real men.
The fact is you’re upset because while Mobile celebrates Mardi Gras, they will NEVER do it as good as New Orleans nor have they ever been nationally recognized for Mardi Gras. As a New Orleans native I lived in Fairhope and it was the worst 2 years of my life. There was absolutely NOTHING to do in that dried up god forsaken hell hole. Alabama is NOT New Orleans and will never be regarded with the admiration that New Orleans is so just freakin’ get over it. Oh, and get a chin implant and do something with that bowl haircut. All you Alabama Red Necks look alike and it’s not a coincidence.

  104. GAYS LIBERALS AND SOME WOMEN WOULD SAY SAINTS PLAYED DIRTY…VIKES HIT BREES TOO W/O SACKING HIM – WAS THAT DIRTY – NO – ITS FOOTBALL U STUPID IGNORANT SLUT….THE SAINTS WILL PROBABLY LOSE TO MANNING AND COLTS THEY R 3.5 FAVES NOW UP TO 5.5 AND RISING….BUT THAT WON’T CHG SAINTS – NFC CHAMPS………………..

  105. wow, it is so overwhelmingly obvious that the majority of people think the saint’s played dirty. Experts or not, you can argue with majority. Most of us are dudes that played football, I made it to D1 college and im sure others here have as well. Favre got the shit rocked out of him, yeah his line sucked, but seriously, if you don’t think there were some missed calls then you need your eyes checked. I was a big saints fan last week, but after being outplayed and resorting to this… I hope this team gets eaten alive by the colts. The Vikings destroyed the saints, but just turned over the ball at really bad times. You can’t blame Favre for the loss, if anything blame A.P.

  106. K-Ztylez – I’m not aware of any EXPERT that stated the Saint’s played dirty. As a matter of fact, Trent Dilfer discussed the game with several other commentators and they all agreed the Saints used good STRATEGY. Was it ok for the Vikings to hit Romo as much as they did the week before? After all, it’s what allowed the Vikings to win against Dallas. The difference…. Romo is young and can take a hit; Bret is too old!!!
And your idiotic comment that they turned the ball over at “bad times” DUH any time you turn the ball over is a bad time. Systematically throughout the playoffs the team that turned the ball over the most lost. The Vikings lost this game on their own.

  107. I love it. This is how stupid some Alabama fans are. They are always talking about playing physical and tough and making teams hurt. Like they did against LSU. But when you dont want your old disloyal choke artist of a quarterback to lose you call the hits being late and rough. I dont know what game you were watching buddy, but favre had just let go of the ball everytime when they did hit him after the ball was thrown. No way you could have stopped. Isnt that what football is about trying to bring pressure and make hits. Do you want two hand touch. Favre is disloyal and a diva with the things he does every summer. We dont want your support in New orleans or your input on the saints. Go pull for the Falcons or Jaguars because you Bama fans started jumping on the bandwagon too heavily. The Saints are not your team they are in the great state of Louisiana and u all will never experience a moment like Sunday night!

  108. By the way this is the ninthe str8 year LSU has had one or more players in the superbowl. ha

  109. Tigahbait and F. Sanchez –
    Spot on.

    K-Ztyler –
Just because you believe something doesn’t make it true. You can believe the Saints played dirty all you want (with or without the majority agreeing) and it doesn’t make it so. Also, how can you say “most of us are dudes that played football” an think you are accurate. How do you know this information? I think you simply guessed.

    To the rest –
Tigahbait said it best when he said “favre had just let go of the ball everytime when they did hit him after the ball was thrown. No way you could have stopped”. Apparently the Saints defense was supposed to take it easy on Favre because of his age? As the cliche goes, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Meaning, if Favre can’t take a hit (or 12) then he shouldn’t play the game. He might have a great arm, but he sure doesn’t possess the speed to get out of the way.

  110. “The Vikings destroyed the saints, but just turned over the ball at really bad times.”

Yeah, because there were so many other good times to turn the ball over. They could’ve picked 5 other times during the game and it would’ve made no impact. Might’ve even helped.

    You really know your football.

  111. Call NFL @212 450 2000, and make a complaint about those late, viciuos hits. the leagues 25th ranked defense can’t win any other way than to game plan knocking QBs out of games. NFL will take call, ask for officiating and pass on this # to other sites

  112. Larry –
Just one question: Who determines if a hit is late or vicious? You?

All the people complaining about it are NOT officials in the NFL. It was late/vicious based on your definition. But, call the NFL and let them know your OPINION if you want. It may or may not change anything.

  113. Perhaps Alabama should put it’s own NFL team up against the Saints and see who does what….oh, snap! Alabama doesn’t have an NFL team. WHO DAT?

  114. You are saying we are dirty right? How about you check this video out and see how dirty Brett Favre is…….

  115. If you think the Saints played dirty and the officials didn’t make the calls, call the NFL 212 450 2000. they’ve gotten alot of calls, pass the number on.. Bobby McCray, what a coward, Favre was eatin that 25th ranked defense up. I bet Bobby resorted to fighting alot when he was younger

  116. I guess New Orleans are still getting gifts from katrina, they played dirty anyone who has been around football know’s they got away with alot of questionable calls not to mention a horrible pass interference call to put them in field goal range, just more charity for people who may not deserve it imo

  117. You are all just a bunch of sore losing whiny faggots…. Nobody complained when the Vikings were doing it to Romo the week before? And you wish the mighty purple defense could have done the same to Brees… but they couldn’t so read’em & weep… but keep the weeping quiet and to yourself… BLACK & GOLD SUPERBOWL BITCHES !!!

  118. The sorry little faggot ass bitch that wrote this piece of trash didn’t even have the guts to identify themselves… YOU ARE A FUCKING COWARD !

  119. 110% true! I could kill those a-holes – Dirty losers should NOT be in the Superbowl. I pray they lose – or better yet another hurricane blows up their asses!

  120. Saints are dirty players. They were not the better team when they played Minnesota, got their ass kicked by the Cowboys, and just suck tubesteak in general. Hated seeing the Colts lose to such a bunch of thugs last nite, but oh well, I predict the S’ain’ts to fall back into obscurity shortly. Only the loser kids will wear their gear like it was when I was in school.

  121. THE BEST TEAM WON THE SUPER BOWL

NOW ALL YOU IDIOTS CAN GO SCREW YOURSELVES.

BY THE WAY, DO US A FAVOR, STAY OUT OF OUR CITY; WE DON’T NEED YOUR NEGATIVITY HERE.

WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT

  122. The saints won. So now we keep hearing about how N.O. is so happy, they were down after Katrina, but now the Saints win has given them hope.

Huh? The party lasts one, two, three days. Then what? N.O. is still a toilet, still a crime-ridden, welfare-driven sink hole. If it wasn’t heavily subsidized by tax dollars from other states it would dry up and blow away. Dumbass incompetent fool for a Mayor, thoroughly corrupt politics. A cesspool of corruption, incompetence, and stupidity.
But your team won the Super Bowl. Oh goody. That changes everything!

  123. lmmfao hey are you still wondering how well the saints will do against the outstanding qb peyton manning????? new Orleans saints 2010 superbowl champions

  124. anybody who thinks the saints defense didnt play dirty is an idiot!!!!!!
the refs are idiots or just blind!!!
the guys not overturning the three bad calls in overtime, now they would have to be the most stupid SOBS on this planet!!! still not an excuse for the vikes giving the game to the saints!!! and anyone could have beat the colts in the superbowl, they sucked. ANY GIVEN SUNDAY!!!!
