An Auburn blog has posted updated hotel information for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Last night what appeared to be confidential hotel information for the Alabama football team was widely distributed to Auburn fans via blogs and Internet message boards; however, late last night the document was deleted. On Auburn message boards threats of pranks were made including attempting to disrupt the team’s rest prior to the Iron Bowl.

The information is posted on the Auburntron website, and has been discussed on Auburn message boards. The information includes the team schedule on Thursday evening and gameday Friday. Information in the file posted on the Auburn website (and embedded below) shows that Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban has the presidential suite. The file also contains general information about security arrangements for the Crimson Tide, and times of arrival, travel details, etc.

The original document appears to have been generated Tuesday afternoon. The updated document active Thanksgiving afternoon appears to have been generated Wednesday.

Team meeting times and locations are included in the document.

While it is not uncommon for some information to leak, it seems a comprehensive level of detail.

The document was deleted last night without explanation.

  1. Nixon, the info is replicated here because it is news. IF the file is deleted at the source, it will disappear from this site too.

  2. With the troopers posted at the hotel entrances and parking lots — the aubbies are limited on their horn blowing to keep the players awake — this has been going on for years — they are just trying to minimize the distractions. What REAL damage could aubbies do with this information other than drive by the hotel and lay down the horns.

Just as “bamaandjrfan” said — they could be up for days and still beat the shit out of Aubarn.

    RTR suckaz!!!!

  3. For real…..Its not llke this is the Presidential antourage.. As if it is top secret info. Heck, I imagine its fairly easy to find out where a visiting team is staying if one applied themselves..Again, big deal..

  4. It is easy to find out team hotel. It is much more difficult to find the room numbers, rooming assignments, meeting areas, meeting times, arrival & departure times, etc.

  5. Not for people who don’t care about ethics, or the consequences of leaking confidential, proprietary information.

  6. I still agree.
Somebody needs to start winning in Lee County, I am getting tired of typing 40 words just to post my screen name.
