Mike Bianchi is full of it

M ike Bianchi is an idiot. He suggests Urban Meyer is the new Bear Bryant and this has Alabama fans scared. He says Alabama’s media is hoping Urban Meyer heads to Notre Dame. He just doesn’t get it.

Alabama fans aren’t afraid of Meyer or Tim Tebow. Alabama fans respect hard work and great players.

But there is one thing Alabama fans fear.

The Crimson Tide faithful fear Gene Chizik.

It is the Tide’s dirty little secret.

Chizik’s master recruiting plan is paying off. All the Tiger Prowls, Big Cat Weekends and secondary rules violations have Crimson Tide fans looking over their shoulder. Trooper and Luper and Gus and Chizik—that is a brain trust right there. They will land every big recruit in this state. Nick Saban can’t keep up. Alabama could never get a big recruit from right there in Auburn-Opelika; Corey Grant will never land in Tuscaloosa!

But more than recruiting, Alabama fans fear Chizik’s ability to run a program. He was famed for his superb game plans and time management while head coach at Iowa State. He had a reputation at Iowa State for being a tough, but lovable general. He inspired his Cyclone troops to new heights. Cyclone fans were ready to build a statue to honor the great Cheezit! The glorious history on the field is etched into his record. Enshrinement into the Hall of Fame for 5-19 is a assured.

While Bianchi might love Meyer, it clouds his vision. Everyone knows the Bear isn’t in Gainesville; the new Bear lives in Auburn.

Are you serious? Why the Chizik comparisons… Does that make Sa$an a better coach than Urban? This site bashes Auburn too much… A wise man said, ignore your enemy or kill them… This site could take that advice…

Somebody is full of it alright. Cap. Is this more of your credible “gettting to the truth journalism”?

    Ballplay, this is called commentary.

And Bamafan, please. We all know you are an Auburn fan in disguise. As for ignoring your enemy, what a load of crap. Everyone from Sun Tzu to the modern age tells you to know your enemy–that is why coaches watch game film and blogs update readers on rivals. People like to know what is happening in Moscow, why wouldn’t they like to know what is going right or wrong in Auburn?

    Getting to the truth?
Sure, Chizik is a feckless patsy and a puppet for Pat Dye.
There you have it… the truth.
Somebody tell Phillip marshall to look away. He doesnt want to see or hear this.

And Ballplay, I’ll be honest here. I started writing this with Lane Kiffin’s name there, but decided EVERYBODY would be talking about Kiffin today. What about Chizik? So, I wanted to make him feel at home…just like I would Tommy Tuberville. :)

Bianchi is a well-known opportunistic pot-stirrer. This week he loves Meyer and is stirring up the Tide fan base. Next week it could very well be the other way around. He will surely call it “objectivity” but the rest of us should see through it.

I’m sorry, I forgot, where did Corey Grant decide he would go?
