Terry Bradshaw is excited about La. Tech football and the biggest reason is Derek Dooley. Dooley has a connection with Nick Saban (he served on Saban’s staff 2000-2005 at LSU.)
According to the Shreveport Times, “I couldn’t be more proud to have him here,” Bradshaw said. “When Derek Dooley first came on board, I asked Jimmy Johnson if he knew him. He said he was a hard worker and smart. He knew (Nick) Saban loved him. Jimmy has a great deal of respect for Saban. I don’t need to hear from anybody else. Jimmy is about as good at elevating talent and coaches as anybody. Everybody calls him every year when they’re looking for a coach or another general manager.”
