Saban and Muschamp met last week in Tuscaloosa

The Austin American-Statesman and Tidesports.com reported that Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban and his former defensive coordinator Will Muschamp met in Tuscaloosa last week. Muschamp reportedly was consulting with Saban’s staff and helping the new linebacker coaches.

I wonder what else was discussed. You know there had to be some good gossip exchanged.

Yeah, I would have loved to be a fly on the wall. Just a thought, but I wonder where Muschamps head is at right now. Coach in waiting at Texas is great, but it isn’t gonna happen soon like at Oregon and Fla. St. He already turned down the Auburn job. How much money can he afford to lose turning down head coaching jobs over the next 10 years or so waiting on Brown to retire or move up to AD?

I would bet it was a pow-wow on how to stop Florida’s offense. Muschamp was DC at Auburn and beat Florida two years in a row. One was one of Floridas NC seasons.
