This morning signed letters have arrived in Tuscaloosa from these players: Kellen Williams, Michael Bowman, Mike Marrow, Nico Johnson, Chris Bonds, Anthony Orr and Anthony Steen.

Receiver is a big issue at Alabama. The Tide needs more depth and more help for Julio Jones in stretching the defense. Here’s a highlight on Alabama signee Michael Bowman who signed with the Alabama Crimson Tide Wednesday morning. The wide receiver was rated as a four-star by Rivals and a 75 by ESPN. According to ESPN’s analysis: Bowman certainly has the size and hands for the position and is a big target in the passing game… He just doesn’t show much ability to separate versus man coverage and after the catch. He is kind of a one speed guy. He does a lot of things well, but isn’t much of a big play threat downfield. May be a better fit inside to sue his size and work the middle of the field.”
