Jodie Meeks.

If you knew nothing else about the Alabama vs. Kentucky game today that would be enough. Meeks posted a strong performance to push the Wildcats past the Tide: “Jodie Meeks scored 16 of his 27 points in the second half to lead Kentucky to a 61-51 comeback victory over Alabama on Saturday,” according to the AP story you can read embedded below.

As for Alabama, its shooting woes continued: “The Wildcats held Alabama (12-7, 2-3) to 29 percent shooting. JaMychal Green led the Tide with 15 points, but guards Alonzo Gee (eight points), Senario Hillman (nine) and Mikhail Torrance (zero) were a combined 6-of-30 shooting and got few open looks.”
