Senior Bowl begins in Mobile

22 SEC players, including 4 former Tide stars set for NFL tryout
The 2009 Senior Bowl practice begins today. The first practice session can be viewed on the NFL Network at 3-4:30 p.m. The NFL Network has a week filled with coverage of Senior Bowl events. Here is a list of that coverage. NFL Network is channel 212 on DirecTV.

The game provides a chance to see several Alabama alumni including former Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson being tutored by his former head coach and former Alabama quarterback Mike Shula.

Other Alabama players scheduled for the event include Antoine Caldwell, Rashad Johnson and Travis McCall.

The SEC has 22 players schedule for the event—more than any other conference.
