Spring football is coming. Is anyone ready? UA sent out official word on the A-Day game. Here are your details:
(Via UA Media Relations) TUSCALOOSA — The University of Alabama will hold its annual A-Day Game to conclude spring football practice on Saturday, April 18 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Admission will again be free to the public and kickoff is tentatively set for 2:00 p.m. Further details on television coverage and events surrounding A-Day will be released at a later date.

The Crimson Tide football team is tentatively scheduled to hold the first spring practice of 2009 on March 23. UA spring break is the week prior, March 16-20.

Over the last two seasons, Alabama leads the country in spring game attendance with a combined total of 170,338. UA set a college football record in the spring of 2007 as a capacity crowd of 92,138 watched head coach Nick Saban’s first A-Day at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Last year’s attendance of 78,200 led the SEC and was the second-largest in the country.
