I hate to say this, but we can kiss all the hopes of an undefeated season good bye. That may be early speaking, but we won’t finish this season undefeated.

We played like sheer crap today, especially on offense, and our defense played a great game, but they failed to come through in the clutch, making the game seem as if it was actually as close as it appears.

Turnovers, mistakes, and penalties nearly cost us the game, and I know we won’t be so lucky in future games, if we continue playing the way we played today.

NYC, I am not kissing nothin away, every team in the sec has played bad at some time this year, you just gotta make sure you still find a way to win like we did 6 and 0 baby!!!!!!

It’s like we didn’t find a way to win, we just found away not to lose. We’ve gotta pick up the pieces and I hope this bye week doesn’t affect our performance against Ole Miss because I know they’ll be thirsty for a big win against Alabama.

We were plagued with costly penalties, turnovers, and simple mistakes. In all honesty, Kentucky should have won the game, but luckily for us, we managed to find a way to pull it off in the end.

Here’s to hoping all the kinks are worked out in the bye week, just in time for a hungry, Houston Nutt led Ole Miss team arriving into T-Town!

    Roll Tide!

Do any of you remember the MS State game in 1992? Bama has and appears will always play to the level of their competition. Bama put the game out of reach when it mattered. Yes, Johnson made a bad decision that gave Kentucky a score. Do you actually believe a player with his discipline will do that again in his career? Do not expect this team to put up big numbers on the score board unless the game demands it. And do not think mind games are not at play to keep things in the correct perspective. This game was never in question as to who was the better team. We have yet to show our entire hand, and Coach Saban will not unless it is necessary.

The things I like most about this season: BAMA is back no matter when the championship comes, Tubberville has been caught for the imposter he is (for the second time), and the Auburn faithfully have the questions inside (why did we ever believe we could be an elite team in this conference or a true national contender). The Auburn faithful has always known the truth. They are just eternal optimist with attitudes.

We have got to learn to play to the level of our potential instead of the level of our competition. I personally don’t think we’ll finish the season undefeated, but there’s always hope that we can. We have to show up in every game, and do all that we can to keep from making stupid mistakes.

This team just wasn’t ready to play this game… two missed field goals, more penalties than every college football game combined since day one, JPW TRIPS in the redzone, JPW throws a near perfect interception on a scoring drive, turnovers, and we nearly lost one fumble IN THE REDZONE, yadda yadda yadda. I doubt we’ll play like this against Ole Miss, but who knows.

I agree with Amy. 6-0! Halfway there, regroup and refocus. Maybe we get healthy this week and finish the season the right way this year for a change.
