  1. Cappy,

It’s patently absurd to think Saban gets the credit for this. Capers is a proven defensive coordinator in the NFL. He doesn’t need a failed NFL coach (i.e, Saban) to talk anyone into hiring him. Just because their common connection is working with Saban doesn’t mean in the LEAST that that has anything to do with him getting the job. Unlike Saban, Capers has been successful in the NFL, at least as a coordinator. He was highly respected in Pittsburgh.

  2. If Saban wasn’t Alabama’s head coach, you would have agreed with the article, now wouldn’t you barn boy, Barnie?

The only thing absurd about this page is your obsessively envious man-crush on Saban.

  3. bammerNYC: I happen to be an NFL fan and know a lot more about Capers’ resume than you do, sparky. Capers is a damn good DC. His tenuous connection to Saban had nothing whatsoever to do with him getting the job.

Now get off the computer before your mama catches you playing with it again.
