The Tuscaloosa judge who heard the Ronnie Cottrell case against the NCAA has written a book on the lynch mob mentality which drove the case, The Birmingham News has posted on its breaking news page.note: the link isn’t working at the moment, but it can be seen on the breaking news page by clicking here.

“A Lynch Mob Mentality: Ronnie Cottrell vs. NCAA, The Untold Story,” is the proposed title of Wilson’s book that does not yet have a publisher, although it is in the hands of The University of Alabama Press in Tuscaloosa…

Wilson says in a prospectus sent to the publisher that the lawsuit was intended to take advantage of public dislike for the NCAA over its sanctions against the Alabama football program.
