OK, taking a deep breath here’s a column about Georgia and today’s game. And according to the columnist for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, the came comes down to the dominating the line of scrimmage. That’s something I completely agree with. Alabama’s line is developing nicely, and may in fact (I can’t believe I’m going to say this) be better than I expected. Last year’s clock rules might have led to different outcome in the Arkansas game? That is a possibility, according to Jeff Shain’s column (see below). Total plays per game so far this season is 169.1 compared to 152.6 last year and 168.6 in 2005.
