Baton Rouge is fewer than four years removed from Louisiana State’s 2003 national championship. It was Nick Saban who coached the Tigers back to national prominence. But sit down for a bowl of gumbo inside Walk-On’s Bistreaux Bar & Grill and you won’t find one picture of Saban hanging among the walls of LSU memorabilia.

The Miami Herald attempts to explain what life is like in the LSU-Alabama rivalry since Saban fled the Dolphins for the college game. The story is from the LSU perspective, so it is filled with contradictions. For example, early in the story an LSU fan is quoted as saying Nick Who?, but later in the story an LSU player is quoted as saying the fans all urge him to beat Nick Saban.
