Here is a quick look at a few of the major players in the 2008 class mulling offers from Alabama. The list isn’t complete by any means, and is constantly changing thanks to the aggressive nature of the Saban staff. I’ll add these names to the offer section of the website, and will post any additions, etc. as they are added.

Kicker
Corey Smith of Inwood-Musselman, (W.Va.)

Smith “projects as a punter/kickoff specialist,” according to Special Teams Solutions, a kicking/punting coaching site. I guess that means we might get a touchback on kickoffs or something? In a kicking camp as a sophomore, Smith notched punts averaging over 39-yards per kick. Smith also has an offer from West Virginia.

HB
Reggie Hunt of Daphne HS 5-8 187  4.4

He rushed for over 1,000-yards as a junior even with missing five games. He was honorable mention on the All-State football team as voted by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Justin Rogers of Vestavia 5-11 180 4.4
Led Vestavia with 2,100-yards rushing and 31 touchdowns. He has an offer from Alabama on the table. Rogers was voted an honorable mention to the All-State team as a junior.
